I think you are right, somebody loaded the wrong castings into the machining center and then let them through and packed them . What is even more magnificent is somebody else mounted them on a car!
Come to think of it, what are the odds that it was a machine that loaded the parts into the station and then another machine mounted the tire and another machine mounted them on the car. Impossible?
